What’s a Maker? A decent short definition is “Anyone who creates things themselves rather than just buying them.”  Makers use modern technology, social gatherings (online and offline), and the ready access to information to create the things they want.

Makers celebrate each other’s accomplishments even when the means of creation is radically different: 3D Printing experts love to work with Wearable Electronics Makers as well as modern blacksmiths.
